COMMENTS: This is the cornersotne ride of the 18 road area. The ride is mostly fast curving singletrack. If you have tiime for one ride in this area, don't miss this one. Beware the trail can get nasty quickly in wet conditions. Combine these trails to make other loops in the area. Prime cut is good in either direction. Joe's ridge is more fun as a descent. STARTING POINT: From Grand Junction drive west on I-70 to Fruita Exit (#19). From the off ramp travel .1 mile then go right to the roundabout. Continue straight through the roundabout, travel 2 blocks and turn left on Maple Street. Travel 4 miles north on Maple St. (17 1/2 Rd). Turn right at N. 3/10 Rd, travel .5 mile to 18 Rd. Go north on 18 Rd for 7.5 miles to a parking area on the left. A carsonite post across the road directly across for the parking area is where the single track begins. TRAIL TYPE: SINGLE TRACK 90%, DOUBLE TRACK 10%
